Project Instructions:
January Service Project 2023 will benefit Hopes and Dreams Quilt Challenge for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). For more information see quiltersdreambatting.com .
- Minimum quilt size is 35” by 44”, (lap or bed quilts of all sizes are welcomed).
- Finished quilts will be collected at the June 13, 2023 Towpath meeting.
We are encouraging members to make “3 yard Quilts” for this project. Check out frontporchquiltshop.com for free patterns, or books by Donna Robertson of Fabric Café fabriccafe.com. These quilts use 3 – one yard cuts of fabric and 3 or 3 ¼ yards of backing. A bolt of batting will be purchased to share.
Sign-ups for the January Meeting will begin in November and more information will be available then.
