January 2024 Service Project:

Quilts of Comfort for Hospice and Palliative Care is this year’s service project. We will be collectimg quitls all year as the cupboard is bare. The people at Hospice and Palliative Care are very happy to receive the quilts for ages toddler through teen. We would like to be sure the quilts are approximately a minimum of 40"x48" to a max of 60"x70" but anything close will be accepted. Colorful prints are requested. Try to limit the use of dark fabrics since we want everything to be cheery. (Also, a good option for pet owners is to wash the quilt after you are finished to be sure that any pet hairs might be removed - just a suggestion.) Please have the quilts totally cleaned of threads, pins, pet hair, lint, etc. Pretend they are going to be displayed at a quilt show.

January 2023 Service Project:
