We offer a variety of events throughout the year, including monthly meetings, workshops, our biennial Quilt Show and much more.
Towpath Guild meets on the second Tuesday of the month September - June at the United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. Meetings start at 10 AM but come early to socialize starting at 9:30. Guests are welcome to attend a maximum of two meetings at $3.00 per meeting. After that time, the guest fee(s) may be applied to the annual dues.
Special speakers are added to the monthly meetings in October, November, March, April and May. A part of each of those meetings is set aside for the speaker’s presentation. In addition, a workshop may be added that is taught by the presenter either after the meeting on Tuesday for a half day class, or on the following Wednesday for a full day class. See the schedule below for all the great events and activities offered by the guild.
The Towpath Quilt Guild quilt show is held on odd years. This year’s show is “Blooms along the Towpath” on July 12th and 13th at Canastota High School. Click Quilt Show to get the details.
The Wednesday Stitchers are a group of Towpath members that meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month in the community room of the Sullivan Free Library in Chittenango from 10:00 am to noon. The attendance varies from two to fifteen. We bring our hand work projects, quilting problems and smiling faces and share our journey. All are welcome to join us.
